This is not really an Oz book, and is not something I'd recommend for children. The social components are so much in your face that I found it almost offensive. It tries to use the Oz characters, but I think they could have used anyone, including original made up characters to convey their message. Overlooking the blatantly in your face social aspects, however, the story was cute enough that I felt the 3 stars was deserved.Product details
