How could you not love a tough sexy girl making it on her own, and a sexy SEAL come to her rescue?
Put it all in a backdrop of a cruise ship for veterans and you've got a fun, heartwarming story. Kylie served her country, and paid the price with the loss of her leg. But she doesn't hide it. And won't apologize for it. She goes about her life as always. Mac was sent to protect Kylie. There's been a murder on another cruise ship, and Kylie's the next target! He just never counted on falling in love with her. I loved this story, but I also love anything by this author. Highly recommended. It was refreshing to have s heroine who was a perfect Barbie doll. Made the story that much sweeter.

Lots of action and an awesome insta-love romance. Great reading for a quick escape from the mundane. Enjoy, I did!

I gave this book the five stars it deserves. Mac does not believe in love or being tied down to one woman. He is sent on this cruise to protect Kylie. He is blown away by her especially after she reveals her stump to him. He has to be with her. They soon figure out that she is being targeted after they find a dead body. Joe, Sly, and Marty are also on the crew to help protect Kylie. When she is taken, Mac struggles due to being afraid he will lose her. Will they find her in time? What does Mac think about love now??
Great characters (love the old-timers; Vietnam war veterans who have appeared in other books in the series) and a peek into the lives of those military heroes who give so much of themselves for our country's security and safety. Takes place on a cruise ship loaded with wounded warriors and their loved ones, bound for Cancun. Mac is a Seal, tasked with providing bodyguard protection to the ship's Activities Director, Kylie, who is herself a wounded veteran, having lost a leg in an IED blast. A quick read novella that leaves you wishing for more!
I'm so glad I didn't judge this book by the reviews I was seeing. It was a little odd to see in the product details that it supposedly had 9 pages, but I think that was just a part of the upload glitch that had been mentioned.
Hard Seal to Love was wonderful! I had a very hard time putting it down once I met Mac and Kylie. I was intrigued to find out about Kylie's disability -- because very rarely do you find a character with disabilities much less a major character and in a love story! -- and quite interested in how it would all play out. And it played out in the most beautiful way.
This was my first foray in Ms. Devlin's Seal series but I'm sure it won't be the last. She is a very skilled storyteller who knows what she's doing. You won't regret picking up this book!
This was a fun, quick read that kept you on your toes, either with the action/adventure or the hot, sexy love scenes. I enjoyed this tale and highly recommend for someone wanting a quick, hot adventure romance. Ignore the 1 Star reviews. It was a glitch and not the author's fault that the wrong version was delivered in the pre-orders.
